Noldian Expedition Report

Greetings fellow Noldians! On our most recent expedition our research team has found an exciting new planet, and we are proud to share the team's discoveries.

Low Risk Discoveries

These were easily found discoveries that sported little danger to our team.

banana

ID - 01

One of the extraordinary flora we encountered on the new planet. They seem to grow in abundance in large, cubic shaped stumps. We need to conduct further research to determine the toxicity of this specimen.

Its stiff skin makes it hard to open. It's certainly not meant to be eaten.

The potassium readings are going through the roof.

orange

ID - 02

A very spherical object we believe might have evolved to look like the sun. These also seem to grow in large, cubic shaped stumps. This is strangely a dominant trait of the flora on this planet.

We are still wondering what's the evolutionary advantage of cubic shaped stumps on this planet.

Medium Risk Discoveries

Upon investigating these new discoveries, we had to come dangerously close to the territory of what seemed to be the prominent species we dub 'H4-82'. In doing so, only the experienced of the team could continue the operation.

cup

ID - 03

These appear to be the hardened remains of another species living on this planet. They are very commonly seen around the nests of H4-82, and are perhaps their main source of food.

The extruding ring stucture would act as a sail, supporting the organism in actions such as swimming.

lock

ID - 04

We believe this to be a subset species of ID - 03, given the bony ring structure. Perhaps the black pigment and patterns allowed it to absorb heat and hide from predators. Hence why their remains aren't as prominent as ID - 03's.

The species on this planet are very peculiar.

eraser

ID - 05

We noticed the species H4-82 used this mysterious material to make things disappear from existence. It perhaps has time travel properties that reverts an object to a previous state. We have to be extra careful around the H4-82 kind.

We deemed this to be a very dangerous substance.

We might need to research the H4-82's technology for our own use.

glove

ID - 06

The shed skin belonging to the most prominent species on this planet, H4-82.

Before feasting, the species would often shed off this hardened layer of skin, revealing very small appendages underneath. The patterns and colours of this layer seemed to vary between individuals. This might've played a part during mating seasons.

High Risk Discoveries

These were discoveries that posed the most danger to our team. Only the most experienced could conduct and retrieve the data and it was very stressful ensuring no casualties.

H4-82 Facial Scan

Using our best tech, we tried our best to reconstruct the facial structure of the prominent species, H4-82. We apologise for the blurry reconstruction. Getting so close to the native fauna is incredibly dangerous for our team.

I might be the leader of the operation but they still scare me.

vial

Substance (???)

One of the big treasures we discovered on this planet! We think it contains a very powerful ingredient we've been searching for a long time. We have to make sure nothing bad happens to this vial on the return back.

I hope we get a raise for this.

I can only imagine the number of experiments I can conduct now.
